How much does nutrition affect fitness levels?

What is a good fitness routine for me?

I am a sophomore. I run cross country and swim. I missed this xc season due to stress fracture. I **** at it, but I want to do better. I need a fitness routine that isn’t pure running, I don’t have time to run every morning or afternoon. I want to be able to workout twice a day so I can be fit by June. I have about 15 minutes in the morning, but it is too dark to run. I usually have afternoons free. Does anyone have a good fitness routine for me to follow?

I was going to but a work out DVD but i want to try a work out for a few days before i get the DVD because i could end up with the wrong type of exercise. I just wondered if anyone has come across a online pregnancy fitness workout? – aerobics. I have looked on you tube and only come up with 2 min videos. Anything will help even if its not a vid. Hi everyone :-) . I’m a 16 year old male, and I need seriously some workout advice.

Ok, my main focus is the arms, (bicep tricep) and my chest. The problem I have is I do not know how to properly workout. I try not to skip a day of workout, but for some reason I think that’s wrong. This is my routine:

Monday – Arms
Tuesday – Chest
Wednesday – Arms
Thursday – Chest
Friday – Arms
Saturday – Chest
Sunday – Arms

So basically, I do one on one day, the next the other, and repeat. I take a one day brake during the week occasionally. My workout for chest is 10 minutes long, and consists of 25 pushups and the rest I lift weights from my bench up and down.

As for my arms and biceps workout, I give my right arm 5 – 10 minutes of a 15lbs weight, and for my left arm a little bit less around 5 – 7 minutes because my left arm is much weaker than my right arm.

I have a problem with my body. My right arm is light years ahead of my left arm, and you can definitely see that my right arm is bigger than my left one. The same goes for my chest, although it’s not AS visible, I can see that my right pec is bigger and stronger than my left one.

After a workout I always drink a cup of milk and eat some almonds. My nutrition is pretty good.

So how can I tackle these problems? How much rest should I give my muscles? What should my routine be? How can I improve my workouts? How can I allow for my left side to catch up to my right side? Should I workout my biceps twice a day for 5-10 minutes a day for better results and the same with my chest?

I appreciate any type of help guys, thank you very much in advance!
